Who is Gab?
Gab is a teacher, dancer and researcher of Brazilian Zouk. It deals with the technical and pedagogical development of social dance, with an approach that integrates biomechanics, body perception, and movement analysis in the context of relationships with others. Her work aims to transform steps into language: from understanding structure and foundations, to historical and cultural context, to social connections, authenticity, and real applicability in dance.
In addition to teaching, Gab creates educational content and study materials —including a book— to support students and professionals in building a more conscious, comfortable, and expressive dance.
His work goes beyond simply “taking steps”: he builds a technical and body awareness foundation that allows the student to understand and master movement. His methodology organizes the body to dance with clarity and confidence, connecting the foundations to practical applications in social dance. This approach allows each person to adapt the technique to their body, develop precision without rigidity and acquire creative freedom. The result is a cleaner, more comfortable and communicative dance, both for the learner and the teacher.
